Mega block timings for Sunday April 15, 2012

Matunga and Mulund: Fast trains leaving CST will run on the slow line from 10.28 am to 3.25 pm and will halt at all stations between Matunga and Mulund stations. Fast trains beyond Thane will run on the fast track after Mulund station.

Mankhurd and Nerul: Harbour line trains for Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving CST from 10.12 am to 3.25 pm will be cancelled.
Harbour line trains leaving Vashi/Belapur/Panvel for CST from 10.20 am to 3.39 pm will be cancelled.

Special trains will run between CST-Manhkurd and Thane Panvel route during the mega block.

Sunday Mega Block timings - Central / Harbour Line

Like most Sundays, Mumbai local train services will be affected by mega block on August 14, 2011. Here are the timings:

Mulund and Matunga: Fast trains leaving Thane from 10.50 am to 3.42 pm will run on the slow track between Mulund and Matunga and will halt at all stations in between.

CST to Bandra/Andheri: Trains will not run from 10.47 am to 4.03 pm.

Andheri / Bandra to CST: Trains will not run from 10.41 am to 3.48 pm.

CST to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi: Harbour line trains from CST will run on main line up to Kurla between 10.39 am and 3.53 pm and will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli.

Mega Block Timings on Sunday, May 22

Like most Sundays, Central Railway will have a mega block on May 22, 2011. Here are the mega block timings when the local train services will be affected:

Matunga to Mulund: The slow trains leaving Matunga station between 10.33 am to 3.59 pm will be diverted on the fast track and and will stop at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations. Slow trains (down) will not stop at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations during this period.

Tip on how to reach these stations during mega block: You can reach these three stations on your valid tickets as follows:

1. Vidyavihar - Get off at Ghatkopar station and take the up line (reverse direction i.e. CST train).
2. Kanjurmarg - Get off at Bhandup station and take the up line (reverse direction i.e. CST train).
3. Nahur - Get off at Mulund station and take the up line (reverse direction i.e. CST train).

However, up harbour line services from Vashi station to Kurla station will be suspended from 10.21 am to 4.16.

Similarly, down harbour line services from Kurla to Vashi from 10.38 am to 4.08 pm will be suspended.

Mega block between Matunga and Mulund:
Fast trains leaving CST between 9.20 am and 5.44 pm will be diverted on slow line between Matunga and Mulund and will halt at all stations between these stations.

Fast trains leaving Thane between 9.50 am and 5.44 pm will be diverted on slow line between Mulund Matunga and will halt at all stations between these stations.

There is no mega block on harbour line today.

Mega block timings - April 17

Planning to travel by a local train today? Remember, it's Sunday and there will be a mega block on most of the lines due to maintenance work.

Here are the mega block timings when the local train services will be affected:

Matunga to Mulund: The local trains that generally run on the slow track (leaving Matunga station between 10.33 am to 3.59 pm) will be diverted on the fast track and and will stop at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations. Slow trains (down) will not stop at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations during this period.

However, up harbour line services from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi stations to CST leaving Kurla will take the main line route from 10.40 am to 3.54 pm but will not stop at Curry Road and Chichpokli stations.

Harbour line trains will not run from CST to Bandra / Andheri from 10.47 am to 4.03 pm.

Harbour line trains will not run from Bandra / Andheri to CST from 10.41 am to 3.48 pm.

Tip: You are allowed to reach your harbour line stations via the main line and western line between 10 am to 6 pm.
